I just read a short article pertaining to the first day of the work week, which is generally on a Monday.
Without coffee most offices wouldn’t even be able to open their doors at 9 much less get down to business! Or so I thought.
The author said Monday is the most productive day of the week! This goes against everything the majority of people I’ve ever worked with believe! In fact, I thought it was a universal feeling we all share, that after a couple of days doing what we want, Monday is not our favorite word!
According to the person who wrote this fascinating snippet we are all doing much better than we think and Monday is not only the BEST day of the week, we get more done today than any other day!
(I have my own suspicions as to what was in the writers coffee cup but who am I to say? Yay Monday!)
As for my Monday it was great! Today was day one with Walt on the Sunny Morning Show and we covered everything you want to know about. The news, fun events coming up, music you can dance to and commute to work with, guests, and laughter. Not necessarily in that order but that sums it up.
I would like to add, the coffee was strong, the staff didn’t crawl in and so far nobody has been discovered sleeping in a closet. It’s Monday and we are here with you, being all productive and stuff.
