Marquette, MI – September 18, 2026 – “Stick It To Cancer” is happening next week to benefit Cancer Care of Marquette County.
Salmela said the event is features a tournament of hockey games on both rinks starting at 5:30pm Friday, September 25th. She added that games run through the weekend, and the championship games will be played on Sunday, September 27th.
Poirier explained that Cancer Care of Marquette County is a volunteer-driven non-profit agency that helps those fighting cancer in the County with alleviating the costs and expenses related to the fight.
Salmela added that all are welcome to attend and if they cannot make it to any of the games, there is more information about the group at the Cancer Care of Marquette County website.
