Marquette, MI – April 20, 2026 – The Lake Superior Community Partnership recently named a Skandia resident to serve as it’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Natalie Chmiko officially started at the post today as part of a structured transition where she is working directly with outgoing CEO Christopher Germain before assuming full leadership responsibilities.
Chmiko said the brings well over a decade of economic development experience to the role, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Culture and Collaborative Operations at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. She also shared how she, along with her family, moved to Marquette County to live in Skandia.
