Marquette, MI – April 13, 2026 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is hosting its annual Cause for Paws Gala this Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ore Dock Brewing Company in Marquette.
The evening is a celebration supporting local animal welfare efforts, featuring a live auction, raffles, great local appetizers, music, and the organization’s annual awards ceremony.
Dewald explained that the Cause for Paws Gala is one of the organization’s signature fundraising events, bringing together animal lovers, community supporters, and local businesses for a night of giving back.
She added that tickets for the event are $50 per person, and a limited number of tables are available from $180 for a table of four and $250 for a table of six.
