Marquette, MI – October 25, 2023 – On our latest Wildcat Wednesday, where we talk about things going at Northern Michigan University, we heard an update from Athletic Director Rick Comley.
Comley spoke about hockey, football, facility renovations and more with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Comley talked about the home opening weekend for the Men’s Hockey Wildcats at the Berry Events Center this Friday and Saturday and about the upgrades and updates that have been done to the facility during the off-season.
He also shared his thoughts on the struggling Football Wildcats and the challenges coach Shane Richardson is working through as he looks to develop and strengthen the currently winless team.
Comley also talked about the timeline for the construction to begin on the renovations to turn the Vandament Arena into a volleyball and basketball space.
