Marquette, MI – October 24, 2022 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening at 6:00 o’clock at Marquette City Hall.
City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the meeting’s agenda today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the Commission will be making appointments to various city committees and commissions, and will be discussing a request from a property owner for a license to use a portion of city property along the 500 block of East Prospect Street.
Commissioners will also be acting on an Engineering Services contract for an improvement project at the city’s Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Kovacs also spoke about the city’s Winter Parking Ban that is going into effect on November 1st. She reminded residents that it bans all on-street parking between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00am in the city.
