Marquette, Mi- August 1st, 2022- Over the weekend, thousands of Yoopers visited Negaunee for Thunder on the Iron Range. The event was permitted and enjoyable for all ages.

Some of the best U.P country artists donned the stage at the Iron Range, including our very own Adam Carpenter and the Upper hand who opened on Friday night. Blackberry Smoke and international touring outlaw country songwriter Cecil Allen “PeeWee” Moore
followed.
On Saturday, Winger opened and was followed by Lita Ford, Firehouse, Chad Bordgen & The Collective, Stone Senate, and Spun, all of which left fans on the edge of their seats for Sunday. Chasin’ Steel, Band of Heathens, and Hellbound Glory finished off the event on Sunday finishing off the event.

Some of the U.P’s top food vendors were onsite as well. The people of Negaunee thank Campfire Coffee, Midtown Bakery, Journey’s Eatz, Rollin’ Smoke, The Elks, and Smarty’s Bar for their hard work this weekend. The outdoor bars kept the party going as the night went on, serving beer and more from local Breweries such as Blackrocks Brewery.
