Marquette, MI – September 23, 2021 – The Marquette Full Meter-Thon is this Saturday and it’s your chance to help raise funds for a new playground for all kids to enjoy.
Event co-organizer Stephanie Jones spoke about the Meter-thon with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Jones said the event is a “thon” for all abilities to benefit the new Lower Harbor Kid’s Cove 2, a playground for all abilities.
She added that it’s a great opportunity to gather friends, family and co-workers for a fun “race” of only 3.28 feet. The day-long event will also feature live entertainment, family friendly activities and much more.
The event is this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Marquette’s Mattson Lower Harbor Park.
