Marquette, MI – July 2, 2021 – Marquette Police are prepared for the the holiday weekend as activities such as parades, fireworks and community festivals make their return to the city after a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Rieboldt says the department will have extra officers out on patrol through the weekend, including an increased presence on the city’s beaches.
He also reminded residents and visitors that smoking was recently banned on the city’s beaches and in the majority of city parks.
