Marquette, MI – December 23, 2020 – Veterans at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette are receiving a huge delivery of comfort items and gifts thanks to all of you who took the time to donate the wonderful items you gave!
Today we had a great wrap-up to our annual effort to remember our veterans at Christmas as we were joined by staff from the Jacobetti Home who came to our offices to pick up the items donated by you to our “Christmas Is For Veterans” gift drive.
You heeded our call to gather the items from the veteran’s wish list and drop them off at Super One Foods in Marquette and Negaunee and at the mediaBrew Communications offices.
A special thank you goes out to Household Appliance, Furniture and Mattress Gallery for the items they dropped off after their staff went on a shopping spree.
We also thank the Kewadin Casinos of the U.P. for their long-standing support of this effort.
The Jacobetti Home for Veterans is constantly facing an uphill battle for funding for items, programs and more.
