Clean-Up Work On Schedule At Vista Theater In Negaunee

Marquette, MI – December 16, 2020 – Work to protect the Vista Theater after an August roof collapse is moving forward and is expected to be completed before Christmas.

Rusty Bowers, President of the Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council, spoke with Mark & Walt in the Morning today about the latest work to clear the debris and shore up the walls of the theater in downtown Negaunee

Bowers says PAAC is working with Carrier Construction and Service, LLC to shore up the auditorium walls and construct enclosures to protect the portions of the building not affected by the roof collapse.

Bowers adds that fundraising efforts are continuing, with the goal to pay for a full roof replacement this coming summer.
