Marquette, MI – November 9, 2020 – Throughout the month of November and December, the Greater Negaunee-Ishpeming Area Chamber of Commerce is promoting “Shop Local for the Holidays” initiatives.
Chamber Executive Director Bob Hendrickson joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about some the upcoming events.
Hendrickson said although things will be different than past holiday seasons, they expect a successful retail season by using proper precautions.
He said the Ladies Night Out in Ishpeming will be held on Wednesday, November 18th this year. It’ll be a scaled down event where individual businesses participating will be offering discounts and specials.
Hendrickson added that Small Business Saturday is on November 28th and encourages shoppers to focus on supporting small businesses in their community.
