Annual Static Display Kicking Off Fire Prevention Week Tomorrow In Marquette

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The annual Fire Prevention Week activities are kicking off tomorrow in Marquette with the annual Static Display.

Marquette City Firefighters Jeff Green and Dan Pruner joined the SUNNY Morning Show today to talk about the display and other information related to Fire Prevention Week.

Green said the static display is tomorrow, Saturday, October 6th and Fire Prevention Week starts on Sunday.

The static display runs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Bluff Street next to Harlow Park in Marquette features fire trucks from around the county and a fire truck parade.

Pruner and Green also talked about the importance of working smoke detectors and other tips to increase fire prevention and safety.
