Marquette, MI  –  May 23, 2018  –  Iron Bay Restaurant and Drinkery continues their week long Anniversary festivities this afternoon with a presentation from Marquette’s own, Jacke Deo. Deo will be showing a 3D trip into the past to see what Marquette used to look like in the 1800s! The show starts at 3pm in the Tap Room, so grab a cold one and see what our great town used to look like.

In the evening, Iron Bay Restaurant is offering a special for the wine addicts and the brew crew! From 5-7pm, enjoy a wine tasting from the restaurants impressive selection. You’ll have the chance to sample six different wines as well as enjoy appetizers for $30 a person. There are a limited number of items, but you may still be able to get a spot! As for our beer fans, join the fun in the Tap Room from 7-9pm and try out eight different craft brews. There are no tickets needed and it’s just $5 per person! Just swing by the waterfront and sign up for your 30 minute slot and enjoy a one-night only event with just 10 other people.

On Thursday, Bob Sweeney from the Mackinac Bridge Authority is sharing his knowledge about the Mackinac Bridge at 3pm. Enjoy a beer “on the bridge” when you stop by the Tap Room and sit at one of the tables made from the bridge’s grates.

Later that night, enjoy an incredible beer and pie pairing with Peace Pie Company and Ishpeming’s Cognition Brewing Company. Join this limited Cognition Tap Room take over for just $35 and taste four courses of sweet and savory pairings. This is a unique culinary event you don’t want to miss! Once it’s over, catch the last hour of Da Upper Yoopers Barbershop Chorus performing live in the restaurant. The group will be doing classic hits from 6-9pm.
