Gwinn, MI – April 28, 2018 – The Sing it U.P. competition at The Up North Lodge in Gwinn is over, and the last round was a great one! If you weren’t there to witness the singing live, don’t worry, because Sunny FM‘s own Alex Baysore was on the scene and on the air to bring you all of the excitement.
Alex talked about the six performers that were vying for the grand prize of $1,000 cash and free Up North Lodge ribs for a year, and reminded listeners throughout the night that these were the cream of the crop, the best singers of the entire competition. Alex was even joined by one of the contest’s judges, who said that he was very much looking forward to hearing all the talented contestants.
The Sing it U.P. competition was a success, and something that the Up North Lodge will surely want to bring back in the years to come – and that Sunny FM looks forward to bringing to you.
While everyone had great performances throughout the evening, Molly Ann Slavinski crushed the Text-to-Win competition received 73 of the 91 votes and taking home first place as awarded by tonight’s three fantastic judges.
Molly received $1,000 cash and a year of free ribs from The Up North Lodge. The $500 second place prize went to the only male left in the competition, Robert Kemp. Finally, local singer song writer Deanna DeValve walked away with the $250 third place cash prize.
