    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Back in the studio for the latest edition of our Tuesday Superintendent Series, NICE Community Schools Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine gave us an update on the latest in the district.

    DeAugustine shared info about a grant recently awarded to the district that they will be using for auditorium improvements.

    He also updated us on a series of programs in the district including partnerships with Northern Michigan University to give students in the district a chance to gain college credit while still in high school in a wide array of subjects.

    DeAugustine also talked about some recent successes on the professional training, forensics and athletic fronts.

    He also talked about continued plans for improvements and remodels of district buildings and other facilities including the tennis courts.
