Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – All 32 Michigan Department of Transportation U.P. roadside parks have now reopened for the season.
M-DOT says roadside parks in Upper Michigan usually open in mid to late April each year but some openings were delayed this year.
Most parks reopened April 27th.
A handful of parks in Alger, Luce, Chippewa and Schoolcraft Counties had remained closed until this week due to lingering winter conditions.
