Manistique, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Three suspects were arraigned today in connection with a triple murder case in Schoolcraft County.
45-year-old Kenneth Brunke and 46-year-old Garry Cordell, both of Manistique, were each charged in 93rd District Court of three counts of open murder, three counts of conspiracy to commit open murder, three counts of first degree murder and three counts of unlawful imprisonment.
They are charged in the deaths of 42-year-old Jody Hutchinson of Gould City and sisters 31-year-old Carrie Nelson and 25-year-old Heather Aldrich, both of Newberry.
Their bodies were found on April 17th in a burned out SUV in Schoolcraft County’s Doyle Township.
Also arraigned in the case today was 28-year-old Marietta Carlson, of Manistique.
She faces one count of open murder, one count of conspiracy to commit open murder, three counts first degree murder and three counts of unlawful imprisonment.
All three are lodged in the Schoolcraft County jail without bond each face life in prison if convicted.
