Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Protestors of an international trade deal currently under consideration in Washington, D.C. rallied in front of Congressman Dan Benishek’s downtown Marquette office yesterday afternoon.

Members of the U.P. Regional Labor Federation are against the proposed Trans–Pacific Partnership.

The measure is intended to increase economic relations between U.S. businesses and the Asia–Pacific region.

Protestors said the measure is a U.S. job killer and they hoped to send a message to Benishek to vote against the plan.
