Grants Available For Non-Profits For Arts And Cultural Programs

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Council For Arts And Cultural Affairs is providing a total of $9.7 million for non-profit groups to present arts and culture programs.

    Tiina Harris, Community Services Manager with the City of Marquette Arts & Culture Center joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to encourage groups and agencies to look into the grants for possible programs and activities.

    Harris said while these grants are traditionally applied for by arts and cultural groups, but they are available for other non-profits to consider as well.

    Harris said that there are a wide array of grants out there that can cover everything from a performing artist series to educational exhibits to administrative expenses.
