Gwinn Man Arraigned For Felony Assault

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Gwinn man has been arraigned on a felony assault charge following his arrest last week.

    29-year-old Brandon James Strohm was arrested following a reported domestic assault last Thursday.

    Forsyth Township Police were called to a residence on the 400 block of North River Drive.

    Authorities say Strohm allegedly assaulted his 26-year-old girlfriend, choking her during the attack.

    He was was arraigned in Marquette County District Court today on one count of assault by strangulation, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

    Strohm remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail and faces a preliminary exam on April 20th.
