Meth Lab Discovered In Forsyth Towsnhip

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Forsyth Township Police and the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team are reporting the recent discovery an active meth lab in Gwinn.

    Police responded to a residence on the 300 block of Quail Street last Wednesday morning for a possible meth lab.

    The person who made the report said she had found the lab in the basement.

    Authorities found remnants of a one pot meth lab and some of the components that were still active.

    UPSET detectives secured the scene and cleared the materials from the home.

    The public is being reminded that meth making components are routinely disposed of in public areas and can pose a health and safety risk to those who come in contact with it.

    If anyone discovers items they believe to be remnants of a meth lab, they are urged to not tamper with them and contact law enforcement immediately.
