Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The renovation of the former Holy Name Orphanage in Marquette is on schedule and on budget.
Amy Lerlie, Executive Director of Community Action Alger-Marquette, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to share an update.
Lerlie said the renovation of the property, now known as Grandview Marquette, is progressing as abatement and exterior work is nearing completion and interior work is on pace for the targeted time frame of being open for low-income residents this fall.
She shared some of the details of the work done so far, as well as insight into the application process that will be announced soon to be considered as a qualified tenant.
Lerlie also talked about how the public-private partnership between her agency and the developer was the key in getting the renovation into motion.
