Munising Woman Arraigned For Embezzlement

    Munising, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An Alger County woman has been arraigned on charges of felony embezzlement and forgery.

    64-year-old Rochelle Ann Cotey of Munising was arraigned yesterday on four counts of embezzlement and one count of forgery.

    She is accused of taking the funds from various Alger County organizations including the Kiwanis Club of Alger County, the Alger County Transit Authority and the Commission on Aging between 2011 and 2016.

    Cotey faces a probable cause hearing next week and a preliminary exam next month.
