Chocolay Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Chocolay Township Police are investigating counterfeit $100 bills circulating in the area.

Late last week, officers said bills had been passed that were clearly marked as movie prop money with the words “for motion picture use only” printed on them.

Police say the bills are extremely realistic, but are marked in the upper left hand corner, under the presidents portrait as well as in bold lettering on the right front face of the bill.

If you come across one of the counterfeit bills, contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
