Negaunee Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Negaunee Township Board is holding a public hearing tomorrow about the proposed building of an energy-generation plant in the township.
Wisconsin-based WE Energies is considering the construction of a $180 million natural gas-fired power plant at an industrial park in Negaunee Township.
The Township Board will take public comment on the plan prior to their regular monthly meeting.
The public hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Hall, and the regular meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
