Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Commission has approved the efforts to build an inclusive playground at Mattson Lower Harbor Park.
At their regular meeting last night, Commissioners unanimously approved a plan to relocate the effort from Presque Isle Park.
The approval sets up the application for possible grant funding for the project.
The Commission also unanimously approved changing the start time of the regular Commission meetings from the current 7:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The new meeting time will go into effect at the first Commission meeting of 2017 on January 9th.
