The 22nd Annual “Learning To Walk Together” Pow Wow This Weekend At NMU.

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The 22nd annual “Learning to Walk Together” traditional pow wow is coming up tomorrow at the Vandament Arena on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

    The event is put on by the NMU Native American Students Association, and Ryan Johnsen and Eric Heiserman joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to invite folks to come out.

    They encouraged all to come to the celebration for dancing, singing, vendor booths, and food.

    Doors open at 11:00 a.m. with Grand Entries at Noon and 6:00 p.m. and a feast and hand drum competition will take place at the D.J. Jacobetti Complex at 4:00 p.m.

    The event has no entry fee for NMU students with ID, and a $5.00 charge for non-students..
