Gwinn, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Forsyth Township Police say a Gwinn woman has been arrested on a felony charge of embezzlement.
44-year-old Tracy Marie Spruitenburg was arrested Monday on a warrant authorized by the Marquette County Prosecutor for Embezzlement by an Agent or Trustee of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
The arrest came after a 6-week investigation into allegations that she embezzled the money from the Pines Condo Association while serving as the treasurer.
The charge carries a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and/or a fine of $10,000.
Spruitenburg faces arraignment on October 31st.
