Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – One person was injured in a weekend rollover traffic accident in Escanaba.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Department says a 16-year-old Gladstone male was driving on US-2 near the Buck Inn restaurant just after 2:00 a.m. yesterday when he fell asleep at the wheel.
His vehicle went off of the highway, struck a culvert and rolled over, coming to rest on it’s wheels.
He was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the crash remains under investigation.
Authorities say alcohol was not a factor.
