Lockdowns At Two Marquette Area Schools

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Officials with the Marquette Area Public Schools say a lockdown occurred at the Superior Hills Elementary and Bothwell Middle School this morning.

    District Superintendent William Saunders says a 9-1-1 alarm was accidentally triggered at Superior Hills Elementary.

    The staff and students used precautionary measures and went into the lockdown.

    Additionally, the Bothwell Middle School went into secure mode as a precautionary measure.

    No incident or intruders were reported.
