Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio Sports) – The Marquette Royales Hockey Team is going on the road to take on the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings this weekend.
Head coach Kevin Shupenia joined Sports Director Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to preview the series.
Coach Shupenia also re-capped the regular season and shared his thoughts after his inaugural season in Marquette.
He also talked about the Marquette Royales switching leagues for next season and what it will mean for the team and fans.
Round 1 of the playoffs begin tonight for the Marquette Royales at 7:30pm, Saturday 7:30pm and Sunday, if necessary, at 7:00pm.
