Juveniles Arrested For Car Theft And Drugs

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at the Calumet Post are reporting the arrest of four juveniles on charges related to stealing a car and drug possession.

    The juveniles, two boys aged 15 and 16 and two girls aged 14 and 15, were taken into custody after troopers investigated a suspicious vehicle behind a gas station in Houghton County’s Osceola Township around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

    Troopers say the station had closed at midnight.

    The juveniles, who had been on the run from the Great Lakes Recovery Centers in Marquette County, allegedly took the car when it was parked and running to warm up.

    They have been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and the 15 year old male has been charged with possession of marijuana and suspected meth.

    Additional charges are pending in Marquette County and no names will be released.
