Dickinson County Man Arraigned For Shooting

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Dickinson County man has been arraigned for a shooting earlier this week that injured two Michigan State Police troopers.

    49-year-old Richard Goodreau of Norway is charged in the incident that happened Wednesday afternoon when troopers were attempting to serve a warrant at a residence in Norway and came under gunfire.

    Reports say one trooper was grazed by a bullet, the other was hit by flying glass during the shooting.

    Goodreau faces several charges including Assault With Intent To Murder, Malicious Destruction of Police Property, 1st Degree C-S-C and a Felony Firearm charge.

    He is lodged in the Dickinson County Jail. One of the troopers was treated and released while the other sought his own treatment. Goodreau was not injured.
