Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday for a major community project in downtown Escanaba.
The 8,000 square foot Escanaba Market Place is being built on the 1500 block of Ludington Street.
City and Downtown Development Authority officials say the space will host the Escanaba Farmer’s Market and city events and will also be available to rent for both public and private events.
Construction of the facility is expected to be complete in October.
