Update On Ironwood Heroin Arrests

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Authorities have released an update on the arrest of five people in Ironwood on drug charges.

    The Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at a residence in Ironwood on Tuesday.

    47-year-old Donald Jett and 36-year-old James Schaus, both of Ironwood,  were each charged with two felony counts of Delivery and Manufacture of Heroin, less than 50 grams, and two felony counts of Controlled Substance-Delivery and Possession in a Park.

    Jett was also charged with one count of Maintaining a Drug House.

    A 21-year-old Ashland, Wisconsin woman is also facing two drug related misdemeanor charges.

    Two more individuals were held on probation violations.

    The matter is still under investigation and additional arrests and charges are probable.
