Winter Storm Warning Cancelled, Lake Effect Moves In

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Advisory for counties along the Lake Superior shoreline which is in effect until 10:00 a.m. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled. North winds will turn northwesterly this morning with moderate lake effect snow showers pushing to the east. Scattered light lake effect snow showers will then persist through Thursday near Lake Superior.

    An additional 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected today, mainly this morning.
