Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Firefighters responded to a fire this morning at the Engineered Machine Products facility in Escanaba.
The fire was reported just after 9:00 a.m. when a heating unit on the second floor of the building caught fire.
One person sustained some minor injuries in the fire, and no other damage occurred.
EMP evacuated the building and efforts are underway to clear any remaining smoke from the building.
Production at the facility is expected to return to normal later today.
