Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The City of Negaunee Department of Public Works is advising motorists of a street closure that has gone into effect today.
The DPW says the West End of Water Street is closed to through traffic due to work being done on a new sewer line through this Thursday.
A detour has been provided.
The DPW says the project should not cause any disruption in water or sewer service during this time.
Also, the Marquette County Road Commission says a portion of a county road has been reduced to one lane of traffic this week due to a culvert replacement.
County Road 557, about two miles south of county road 438 in south-central Marquette County, will have one lane of through traffic until Friday, October 24th.
The Road Commission says the project is working to replace a box culvert where county road 557 crosses Wilson Creek.
