Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette has announced developments in the investigation into consumer complaints about propane pricing and delivery last winter.
Under an agreement with Ferrellgas, more than 600 propane customers will share in a financial settlement of more than $100,000.
Schuette has also filed a separate class-action lawsuit against another propane retailer, AmeriGas.
The complaint alleges AmeriGas of price gouging, denial of prices set in early contracts and failure to honor prices quoted for telephone orders.
