Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Baraga County Convention and Visitors Bureau is working on a project to implement new informational signage around the County.
The project will feature a series of uniformly designed signs for natural sites, beaches, campgrounds and other points of interest.
According to Executive Director Tracey Barrett, the Bureau has mapped out and inventoried more than 250 locations in Baraga County and now is in the process of sorting the information into usable data for the sign project.
Organizers say there’s a lot of interest in the list and it will be made public in its entirety once the data is organized.
The project is estimated to cost about $20,000 for about 300 signs.
