Negaunee, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Officials with the Iron Ore Heritage Trail in Marquette County are reminding users that a section of the trail is currently closed for upgrades.
A two-mile section of the trail that starts at Healey Avenue in Negaunee and ends just north of the CN railroad crossing is closed this week for paving of the trail surface.
Trail officials say the project is being done to address surface issues of the trail in hilly terrain in east Negaunee.
A detour has been posted in the area.
