Planning Session Happening Concerning Property Near Cliff’s Museum

    Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) A special planning session is being held tonight in Ishpeming concerning the future development of property near The Cliff’s Shaft Museum.

    Several groups, including the City officials, Marquette County Brownfield Re-Development Authority, Ishpeming DDA, Cliff’s Shaft Museum, the Iron Ore Heritage Trail Authority, and the Lake Bancroft Restoration Committee will be meeting.

    The groups have been discussing potential site development opportunities near the Cliff’s Shaft Mine Museum. Local community input is necessary for a successful development project.

    The planing session is scheduled for 6 o’clock tonight at the Cliffs Shaft Museum, located at 105 W. Euclid Street. The session is expected to last about two hours and refreshments will be served.
