There will be continuous activities all day long, from the kids’ area (where a free tumbler will be given away); to three working demonstrations: faceting precious stones, wire-wrapping and micromounting; a raffle, silent auction, displays, and a crackerbarrel. You can buy or create your own unique jewelry, and learn the art from a pro.
Dealers will come from across the Midwest bringing gems and stones from the U.P. and around the world.
Plus, there will be two collecting field trips on the same weekend, one on Friday to collect iron specimens from the Republic Mine, and Sunday to a limbus quarry.
Admission to the show is totally free, and it’s a great event for the whole family!
