Summer is a great time to have some family fun and stay healthy at the same time. A trip to the beach is always a fun activity and a way to get the kids off the couch and into the great outdoors. Take a trip to a farmers market to find fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables for family meals. Kids are more likely to eat healthy if they help make the food selections. Picnics are another idea for family fun. How about a breakfast picnic with fruit and yogurt and bran muffins?
