Public’s Help Required in Hit-and-Run Investigation

    U.P._News_UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Chocolay Township Police are looking for the public’s help in their investigation into a hit-and-run accident that happened last evening.

    The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. near Green Garden Road on US-41 when a north bound white Buick LeSabre entered the shoulder and struck a woman riding south bound on a bicycle.

    Reports say the woman was not seriously injured in the accident.  Police say the car was occupied by two Caucasian men, one with dark hair, and the other with light colored hair, possibly blonde.

    Anyone with information related to the accident is asked to call the Chocolay Township Police at 249-4040.
