Jail Sentence for Wallet Thief

    Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Great Lakes Radio – A Marquette County woman will spend 120 days in jail for the theft of a wallet from a customer at a Marquette nightclub.

    Tricia Savard, 33, of Negaunee was sentenced today in Marquette County Circuit Court after recently pleading guilty to larceny in a building in connection with the the theft of the wallet at the Wild Rover bar on March 5th.

    She was arrested two weeks later along with an accomplice, 30-year-old Charles Elvetici of Negaunee.  The pair were identified by public tips after a surveillance video was released by Marquette Police.

    Elvetici is currently serving time after being convicted of robbing the Ishpeming Huron Mountain Bakery store.  That robbery occurred two days after the wallet theft in Marquette.
