Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Michigan gas prices have held steady the past few weeks, but that could change as the Memorial Day holiday and summer driving season approaches.

Nancy Cain, of “Triple-A Michigan,” says motorists should expect some price increases around the Memorial Day holiday weekend, but nothing dramatic, unless conditions change on the global oil market or there are supply problems with refineries and pipelines.

Cain says, right now, there is an ample supply of gasoline and there have been no interruptions in supply, either in the Middle East or with refineries or pipelines. She also expects moderate to lower prices throughout the summer.
