    MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team Commander D/Lt. Tim Sholander stopped in on The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about illegal methamphetamine production and use in our community.

    Commander Sholander explained what meth is, how it’s made, some of it’s history and what you should do if you encounter a suspected meth lab or some of the remnants.

    He also talked about how meth has become a growing concern in many areas of Marquette County and the rest of the U.P. because of it’s strong “high”, very addicting qualities and it’s overall ease to make for very common items.
