MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Seasonally unadjusted unemployment rates displayed only modest changes in most of Michigan’s 17 major labor market areas in February.
According to the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget, the Ann Arbor area had the state’s lowest jobless rate In February at 5.3 percent while Northeast Lower Michigan had the highest at 14.1 percent.
The rate for the U.P was 10.5 percent, Marquette County had a rate of 8.2 percent. Michigan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in February was 8.8 percent.
